Hanbury Manor

Hanbury Manor Golf Club is located within 200 acres of historic Hertfordshire parkland at the Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel and Country Club, 16km from London. As one of the premier golf courses near the capital, it assures a memorable experience for golfers of all abilities.

The beautiful manor house was built between 1890 and 1891 for £20,000 - the equivalent of £1.6 million today - as a home to the wealthy brewery-owning Hanbury family. It was later used as the Poles Convent boarding school. The Roman Catholic school's chapel is now the hotel's main banqueting hall, called Poles Hall in honour of its origins.

Measuring 7,052 yards from the championship tees, the course offers a well-balanced, par-72 course. The USGA-standard greens provide an excellent playing surface all year round. The course is set against the scenic backdrop of the 19th century Jacobean-style country house and its magnificent grounds.

Designed by Harry Vardon, the original nine-hole course was later redesigned into an 18-hole championship course by Jack Nicklaus II. It is renowned as being one of England's premier courses, providing an exciting and challenging experience all year round.

When Hanbury Manor Golf Club needed a refurbishment of its locker rooms, Crown Sports Lockers was commissioned to provide the high-quality new lockers and accessories. We installed two-tier clothes lockers, with inlaid burr mahogany and cross-banding locker doors. We also provided comfortable, carpeted locker room seating with shoe storage space below.
