Motspur Park Training Ground has been the training centre for Fulham Football Club since 1999. Although the club and its home ground at Craven Cottage remain strongly linked, the club’s second base in Surrey has become an integral part of Fulham FC’s training regime.
In the period since the ground was acquired in 1999, it has grown into a state-of-the-art sporting facility, where more than 150 members of staff are employed.
The arena pitch is normally used for the first team’s training sessions and for under-21 squad fixtures, while the stand has been extended to provide a players’ lounge, restaurant and medical facilities. There are five additional playing surfaces around the site, including an Astroturf pitch.
Like Craven Cottage, Motspur Park has been developed sympathetically, without losing the charm and character of its 1920s origins – when it was the sports ground of the University of London.
Crown Sports Lockers was commissioned to provide new changing room lockers for Fulham FC Training Ground and personal lockers for the footballers, as part of the site’s refurbishment programme.
The football club is committed to retaining its Elite Player Performance Plan status, and providing an elite training centre is an integral part of this goal.
