Crown Sports Lockers – IHS Exhibition
Sam Palmer, one of the Owners/Directors from Crown Sports Lockers, recently attended the Independent Hotel Show in Olympia, London, on 16th & 17th October 2023 to exhibit Crown’s quality wooden lockers. This is the 11th year that they have exhibited, and they were proud to be amongst prestigious exhibitors such as Boutique Hotelier, Gaia Skincare and Spa Creators.
The show incorporated 2 days of seminar sessions, networking sessions and podcasts, in addition to exhibitions. It is historically billed as the “only industry event dedicated entirely to the needs of luxury and boutique hoteliers.” The show gave Crown Sports Lockers a chance to present their products to owners and operators from luxury boutique and independent hotels; to further establish themselves as key suppliers to the industry; to meet up with business contacts and generate new connections through networking.
Annual Awards
An Annual Awards Ceremony is held during the 2-day show, where independent hotels are commended for their contribution to the hotel industry, and recognised for their efforts. The Headland Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall, was awarded ‘Independent Hotel of The Year.’ There were also awards for General Manager of the Future; Independent Hotelier and Outstanding Contribution, amongst others.
Independent Hotel Show 2023 Update
Sam stated… “The show was good this year. The footfall seemed to be back to pre-Covid levels. We received several enquiries to follow up on – a few of which I have already visited. Our place is already booked again, for next year’s exhibition.”
Much More Than Just Sports Lockers
Crown Sports Lockers design, manufacture and install quality wooden hotel lockers, and spa treatment rooms, and have completed projects for many prestigious hotels and spas across the UK.
