Our 12th Year at the IHS
On 15th & 16th October, Spencer Grimwood and Sam Palmer (Directors at Crown Sports Lockers) attended the Independent Hotel Show. It was held at the Olympia London, and was the 12th year that we (Crown Sports Lockers) have exhibited at this particular event.
Exhibiting Our Quality Wooden Lockers
On this occasion, we were allocated stand 1420 at the Independent Hotel Show 2024, where we set up a display to showcase examples of some of the products we can design/manufacture for our clients.
This year, we chose to feature our quality wooden lockers, with ‘Egger Vicenza Oak’ bodies, complete with ‘Egger Stone Green’ doors and Oak ABS edging. The solid surface was shown in ‘Staron Cotton White’ with the stool being upholstered in ‘Panaz Vintage Spice.’ The locks shown were Digilock Versa, Axis and Mech.
Another Successful Exhibition for Crown Sports Lockers!
After the show, Spencer Grimwood stated “Once again, it was a pleasure to exhibit at the Independent Hotel Show 2024. This is the 12th time we have exhibited, and we enjoyed networking with, and showcasing our products to the ‘decision-makers’ in the Hotel and Hospitality Industry. Sam and I felt the show was yet again a successful exhibition for our company, with several enquiries being made for projects in the coming months, and for 2025. We have signed up to attend again in 2025, and look forward to another fruitful show.”
Sustainability
This year, rather than printing out more case studies to hand to prospective clients, we have started to go paperless for exhibitions. We still had some case studies remaining from other shows, so it would be wasteful not to display them, but the new case study we featured, was via QR code, so people could scan it to read one of our latest spa locker projects – St. Moritz Hotel (incorporating the Cowshed Spa.) This method will be used moving forwards.
At Crown Sports Lockers, we are determined in our bid to become more sustainable. The wood used to make our products is sustainably sourced, and therefore, much better for the environment than some other materials, so will not be contributing to unnecessary landfill. The quality of the products we manufacture means that they last for years to come – which is good for you, your company and the planet. We have solar panels on both of our factory units, and many other features in a bid to become as ‘green’ as possible.
More Than Just Sports Lockers
Although the name ‘Crown Sports Lockers’ suggests that we only make lockers for sports clubs, this could not be further from the truth. Sturdy and secure wooden lockers are designed and manufactured in-house, at our own premises (standard designs are available, or completely bespoke designs are created to suit requirements.)
After manufacturing lockers for over 30 years, we have amassed the experience and knowledge to apply our expertise to lockers in a variety of sectors, including Leisure Lockers (Gyms, Leisure Centres, Swimming Pools, Spin Studios, etc.); Golf Lockers and Changing Facilities for Golf Clubs; Hotel & Spa Lockers & Spa Treatment Rooms; Workplace and Office Lockers (incl. Office Lockers, Staffroom Lockers, Locker Storage Walls, End of Trip Lockers and PPE Lockers); School Lockers (incl. A variety of ancillaries can be provided, including Integrated Locker Benches, Freestanding Locker Benches (both either woodgrain finish or upholstered in a range of colours/materials); Washrooms, incl. WC Cubicles, Shower Cubicles, Wet & Dry Vanity Units, Towel Drops, etc., all of which can be designed using various styles, colours and finishes, to match/complement your lockers, and follow your branding if required. There are a multitude of secure locking options available, and we can also provide integrated in-locker device chargers if requested.
