Recent Exhibition at the Independent Hotel Show
Crown Sports Lockers recently exhibited at the ‘Independent Hotel Show’ at the Olympia National, in London. This prestigious event is the only one dedicated to luxury, boutique and independent hotels. The aim of the event was to bring together designers and suppliers, providing information regarding services and innovative products available, to assist attending hoteliers in their quest to constantly improve their businesses. This year, over 200 exhibitors attended, allowing them to engage with their target audience – first-hand, to enable valuable business connections through networking and to further establish their companies as stalwarts within the hotel industry. There were also speakers, with trend-led sessions and seminars.
Keeping Up With The Latest Trends
Directors & co-owners of Crown, Spencer Grimwood and Sam Palmer, were able to take advantage of networking opportunities, both by meeting with some of the industry consultants they work with, and forming new working relationships with exhibitors and hoteliers alike. It was a great platform to showcase their products, including hotel and spa lockers, washrooms and spa treatment rooms. The Independent Hotel Show also afforded them the opportunity to identify some of the latest trends, in order for them to remain competitive and current.
When asked about the show, Sam Palmer said, “We were delighted to attend the Independent Hotel Show 2022, marking our 10-year anniversary of exhibiting at this event! It was a great opportunity to meet with both new and existing clients, and showcase our latest products to the Hotel and Spa market.”

The Retreat at Elcot Park
‘The Retreat’ at Elcot Park, is situated between Hungerford and Newbury. It is an 18th-century, Grade II-listed building, and has 55 individually styled bedrooms and suites, a Pan Asian restaurant, a brasserie and a spa. Previously part of the Mercure chain, this hotel is now part of ‘The Signet Collection’ – who specialise in extraordinary boutique hotels. The Signet Spa houses a hydrotherapy pool, treatment rooms, gym, salt flotation chamber and much more…
Crown Sports Lockers had the privilege of working on this amazing property, completing works on both treatment rooms and the changing rooms.
The Twenty Two
‘The Twenty Two’ is an exclusive hotel, restaurant and private members club, situated in Grosvenor Square – in the affluent district of Mayfair, in London. It is a 42,500sq.ft. property, with 31 bedrooms, and the interior has been designed by an award-winning designer – Natalia Miyar. Members and hotel guests can unwind with exclusive access to the all-day lounge space, the covered outdoor terrace, the evening dining room or in the cocktail bar.
Crown Sports Lockers were delighted to have won the contract to manufacture and install 350 staff lockers within The Twenty Two, and the hotel was opened in Spring 2022.
Breedon Priory
‘Breedon Priory’ is a deluxe spa provision and health club in the village of Wilson, on the border of Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Crown were appointed to design, manufacture and install the changing rooms and spa treatment rooms. Graham Blunt, the co-owner of Breedon Priory stated, “Crown were extremely professional throughout, and their install team was exceptional – quick, and quietly professional. I would recommend the company to anyone.”
