Luxury furniture finish makes PerfectSense

Nov 23, 2017

A fresh finish from bespoke timber furniture manufacturers and installers Crown Sports Lockers is set to make its mark on the quality of hotel provision without guests making theirs on it.

Exquisite quality lacquered finish

PerfectSense Matt from Egger delivers a high-quality precision lacquered finish on a robust board finish, prepared with an anti-fingerprint property to prevent unsightly imprints on the surface – a key benefit that can cut cleaning requirements dramatically. Aesthetically, the warm, velvety surface carries a tactile quality to create a `feelgood factor` for those using lockers and other items coated with it, says designer Egger, who have picked up several European awards for the product.

PerfectSense Matt made a big impression at the Independent Hotel Show recently, where Crown launched the finish to an audience of owners, operators and specifiers.

“The ability of surfaces to prevent fingerprints and other marks is creating demand for products such as PerfectSense,” said Crown Project Manager Spencer Grimwood.

“Reducing the time and chore of cleaning facilities such as locker rooms and changing areas presents a major attraction for hospitality owners and operators,” he added, “and preserves pristine looks for longer.”

A product that emanates class

PerfectSense velvety-matt lacquered MDF boards exude exclusivity and luxury, while special UV technology adds durability and scratch-resistance to blend visual perfection with unique feel.

“Products such as PerfectSense Matt are helping to close the gap on existing MDF lacquered boards,” Spencer Grimwood said, “making vertical and horizontal furniture applications, as well as curved surfaces, possible within the Egger set of matching decors and materials.”

The contrast with high gloss is in demand for exclusive interior designs, primarily for high-end furniture sector as the superior quality differentiates it from other matt furniture surfaces.

The wide choice in matt is on trend with decors such cashmere grey, light grey, dust grey, crema beige and stone grey.

Classic premium white and alpine white, black and the `nearly black` décor, graphite grey are coming back into vogue too.
