Project Overview
The St Moritz Hotel overlooks the Camel Estuary and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, being very close to the village of ‘Rock’ – the ‘St Tropez of Cornwall’ where many celebrities such as Gordon Ramsey and Kate Moss have second homes. This has also been a favourite destination for Prince William over the years. Situated on the North Coast, this prestigious hotel is home to the ‘Cowshed Spa’.
Crown Sports Lockers (UK) Ltd were delighted to have secured the contract to design, manufacture and install spa lockers for both the male and female changing rooms.
Securing the Contract
Sam Palmer, one of the Directors and co-owners of Crown Sports Lockers said “We were first contacted about the project at St Moritz Hotel in February 2024. We were initially in talks with the designer of the refurbishment, from 3iDog. Eventually, we were awarded the contract by Luscombe Construction Ltd, and completed the works in May 2024. It was an exciting prospect for us, as this hotel and spa is fairly local to us in the South West of England, and is well-known as a reputable and desirable establishment in the area.”
Quality Products, Manufactured to Order
Having amassed over 30 years’ of experience in the industry, at Crown Sports Lockers, all wood is sustainably sourced and the end-products are of a high standard every time. Lockers and ancillary items are manufactured on-site in their production factory, to order, either to standard designs or designed completely bespoke to clients’ requirements. Once the finished products have been made to the exact specifications and have been quality control tested, they are fitted by Crown’s own team of skilled installers.
Wooden lockers, benches and washroom furniture (shower cubicles, WC cubicles, wet & dry vanity units, towel drops, etc.) can be manufactured in a wide range of colours and finishes, and are available in many styles. They can also be branded if required. Benches can be left with a woodgrain finish, painted, or upholstered in a variety of fabrics/colours.

The project at St Moritz Hotel in Cornwall, involved fitting out the male and female spa changing rooms with 2-tier clothes lockers, complete with Shaker-style doors. Free-standing, upholstered benches were also provided to match. The male lockers were finished in ‘Farrow & Ball’ Blue, and the female lockers in Card Room Green.
